Head of Supply Chain, Hillerød Site
You will drive performance and development across our supply chain
At SSI Diagnostica Group, we are continuing our journey from a historically local production set-up to a more integrated, global organization with a clearer focus on performance, transparency, and scalability.
We are now looking for a Head of Supply Chain to lead and further develop our end-to-end supply chain operations at our Danish site – and HQ - in Hillerød.
About SSI DIAGNOSTICA GROUP
The role
You will be responsible for the full supply chain function, covering:
· Warehouse & logistics (1 manager with 5 employees)
· Procurement & Strategic Sourcing (3 employees)
· Planning (3 employees)
You will be part of the local leadership team and work closely with the Site Lead to ensure alignment between operational execution and overall site priorities.
The role offers a high degree of ownership and visibility across the site, with real influence on how the supply chain operates.
What you will be working on
In this role, you will focus on strengthening performance and alignment across the supply chain by:
· ensuring stable and efficient end-to-end supply chain operations
· further developing warehouse and logistics flow, accuracy, and service levels
· strengthening procurement practices, driving strategic sourcing initiatives, and ensuring competitive supplier agreements
· building more robust and transparent planning processes across demand, supply, and capacity
· increasing the use of data and systems (D365 and Power BI) as a natural part of decision-making
· driving supplier performance, negotiations, and handling escalations when needed
· managing the operational supply chain budget and ensuring cost awareness across the function
· ensuring operations are carried out in line with relevant quality, safety, and environmental standards
· working closely with colleagues across the site, including production, quality, and finance, and with external suppliers, to ensure alignment and execution across the supply chain.
At the same time, you will work with a team that brings strong operational experience, and where new structures, processes, and systems are still being embedded.
As the role is based at our Danish site, you are fluent in Danish (native or bilingual level) and communicate professionally in English, which is our corporate language.
Your focus as a leader
A key part of the role is to create clarity and alignment across a function that spans different disciplines and employee groups.
This includes:
· setting clear direction and priorities across warehouse, planning, and procurement
· strengthening collaboration and alignment across functions and key stakeholders at site level
· supporting the team in working consistently with shared processes and systems
· ensuring follow-through on agreed ways of working
· staying close to daily operations and engaging actively with both people and processes
You will play an important role in supporting the continued adoption of D365 and data-driven processes, helping the organization integrate new ways of working into everyday operations.
At the same time, you will build on the existing competencies in the team, contributing to a work environment with trust, structure, and clear expectations.
Working environment
You will join an organization with:
a team with strong operational experience
a supply chain function in development, where you can play a key role in strengthening structure, clarity, and the adoption of new ways of working
a clear ambition to further strengthen performance, collaboration, and transparency
The role offers the opportunity to influence both the direction, structure, and performance of the supply chain function, while contributing to the broader development of the site.
